For students approaching the end of their secondary education, choosing a university is an important decision, one that requires careful consideration of academic interests, career aspirations and financial resources. On October 9, 2026, students of Grades 11, 12 and 13 at St. Stanislaus College had an opportunity to explore these considerations when representatives from seven international universities and colleges visited the institution.

Held in the Marrion Forum, the annual university information session provided students with valuable insights into tertiary education opportunities abroad. Representatives shared information about academic programmes, admission requirements, tuition fees, financial assistance and university life, helping students gain a clearer understanding of the pathways available after secondary school.

Sandra Lizama provided an overview of the opportunities available and encouraged interested students to leave their contact information for further communication with the participating institutions.

Among the institutions represented were William Paterson University, the University of South Dakota, Nova Southeastern University, Douglas College, Lynn University, Juniata College and the Florida Institute of Technology.
